thanks alex for your quick reply, that looks just the job. i will have a wander over to pc world and check that out. i will be using a mackie sound interface with otsav so that looks like it will cope no problem, a word of advice never buy anything from currys any problems they just repair they dont exchange or give you your money back. have a lovely christmas alex thanks again. john

hi everyone first of all a merry xmas to you all, i need to purchase a new laptop for jan. i am using otsav, i have a budget of £400. is there something out there that will run the programme smoothly plenty of ram and hard drive is a must, let me know what your thoughts are as there is a lot on the market. best wishes john.

I got on to the crb bureau this afternoon and was told they don't do them for the self employed cant understand the method in the madness as i said i was working with children, on the next breath they said give your local council a call and explain your job. i sent a post couple of days ago on the kam starcluster laser that sounds good from all the comments i recieved, but then i discover this one moonstar multipoint red and green laser with the 5 watt blue led, this is very different from other cluster lasers. the only thing that puts me off is its not fan cooled and no sound to light. does anybody use one and is it better than my first choice i want to make the right decision before i put the pound notes on the table. thanks guys john
