  3. i have a stageline mpx205 soundlab dual cd (gsm?) nd peavey 1000w pro stack. it's a lovely kit and i now have a new citronic on it's way but them now bein skytec http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/scared.gif i'm a bit reluctant to keep it. i found skytec speakers very good but haven't had anything else.
  4. i have a lot better kit it's jus i use it as a back up or like i said for recording. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thanks.gif
  5. hi i'm new to th site aswell ok a couple of day's old but still. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif so yeah about these gig's. for light's i would strongly advise not to buy strobes cause my friend went out to a disco and used a strobe. only trouble is 1 of th audience was epileptic and had a fit because of it. dull i know but true. mind u th dj is a bit well i'll put it like this http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/stupid.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/censored2.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/wallbash.gif

  8. i also use the computer in th hospital radio and soundbox and i just don't trust it and always use cd's as i haven't stoped once for a cd problem but have stoped many times for computer problems. so that's why i'll never use a computer only for cool edit. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/wallbash.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/1106.gif

  10. hi. i have a homemix cd1 for recording mixes on to computer and it was my first kit i had but now the faders and master and headphone amps are crackling nd i'm lossing left or right channel's now and again. i need to get it fixed though as i want to use it as a "company kit" for my friend but have it running into a 200rms prosound amp and speaker kit. any idea's on wot it could be? thank's nathan http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/014.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/533.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/scared.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/sad.g
  11. yo it's good to see some of th old dj's still going around. i'm fed up of seeing people in my age group of 13-21 on the road and all the old guys dissapering. keep going m8 we need dj's like u to help us younger dj's http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/goodjob.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/beer.gif
  12. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/ranting.gif can i just say dj's swaping to computers and pcdj have u ever considered th problems apart from th fact it costs an arm and a leg it could also damage your show. wot happens when you start to trust th computer and leaving cd's and other forms of music in th house. computer crashes your stuffed to put it nicely. i do radio as some of u will know and many a times has my show been messed up by th computer crashing. also computers have a limit of wot they can hold. say your computers full and a popular new song comes out but u wanna keep all you
  13. no offence but girl's allowed are good. wait wot th http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/censored2.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/censored2.gif am i on about. but if we ban them then i will have to stop doing a feature on my radio show called nathan's worst music file i say keep girls allowed and get rid of will young. now there's a sensible idea also banning txt's in pubs smoking yes but txting no way i live by my phone. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/1106.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/ranting.gif
  14. hey jae, welcome 2 th dj forum. i'm new as well. i dunno about dj'ing off th computer i think it takes th fun out of it. call me old fashion but i'll stick to my cd's. i use cool edit now 4 some of my mixes but i'm gettin bored so i'm going bac to mixing live it's more fun and look's better on th dj. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/toot.gif
