  2. As your on the Topic of Kids parties.I haven't ever really done parties for kids, not my style. But once or twice I helped out at a few outdoor family events. But what is a real headache with kids parties/events,is loads of kids wanting to say something in the mic,and if you let them, they either scream in the mic, drop it several times. So Unless you have a limiter/compressor and a cheapy mic,I wouldn't give the mic for kids to try out. Otherwise you have one wrecked mic[especially if it falls on concrete],maybe some blown tweeters,or even a completely damaged system, when the mic makes a huge
  3. I want to in the Future get a more powerful poweramp, and some bass bins 15 inch or 18 inch with built in passive crossovers. But I need portable bass bins and a poweramp for no more than £1000 pair, which can fit in a small van with the rest of my dj equipment. I heard Scoop bass bins are very good sounding, but even the 15 inch version are still large.A friend of mine has a pair of scoop bass bins made of 18mm plywood, loaded with FANE Collossus 15 XB,they sound awesome. And he has an amazing Crown Macrotech poweramp with 2x 600w rms into 8 ohm. Or I could buy some smaller 15 inch bass reflex
  4. Hi it's RagingBull again, and I would like to say CHEERS M8'S for the replys. Also I'd like to say: IES,RMS,AES,and long term power handling are all basically the same true long term power handling specs. Progamme or 'normal' power is twice the rms power. MPO[Maximium power output] or max power or music power,or Peak is three or four times the rms. PMPO[Peak Music Power Output][ can mean anything, but usually it is ten times the rms] Transient response power is what the speaker can handle for a few seconds[lets say someone by mistake turned the master volume up full for a second or so.]But
  5. Hi I came across your site, whilst I was searching for dj equipment. I'm 19 years old and i've only got a part time job,but I hope to get a full time job within 2 years time. I don't do gigs/club events on a regular basis because I haven't got all the flightcases yet,and only one of my many mates is into djing. But here is my current setup,[All brand new]. 1x 9U 19 inch rack mount stand made of black coated alunimiun on wheels and can assemble. 2x Gemini XL-500 MK2 direct drive decks and 2x Technics slipmatts,2x Stanton Discmaster carts [plus 4 replacement stylus]. 1x Gemini PM
