  1. OK. Now I am making enough money on eBay, and once I have got enough I will be looking into setting up an agency again.
  2. It just wasn't ment to be. I will go into an area of business where I have a lot of knowledge about. Thank you everyone for all your help
  3. Yes I have up quick, but why continue withsome that will fail? I don't have the money for the project, I don't have the time to travel to see DJ's and I don't have the experience. I can set up a website selling clothes or something and be in profit tomorrow. Not 20 years time. I am not a DJ, I am in the wrong business
  4. Nothing. I leave the DJ world
  5. that is generally what happens when a website closes...
  6. OK i am not doing. Liquid Trax is closing down
  7. I am doing!! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif
  8. I won't get anywhere without trying though!
  9. Yes, the listing fee is been removed. so you can sign up free now. Also PLI, PAT, demo, biography, picture, CV, and references are asked for when a DJ joins. I have not had time to update the website yet but it will be done today. Also I am in the process of getting legal contracts to be sent to clubs and DJ's
  10. Drugs are a problem which ruins many people lives, talking from experience. But isn't much a DJ can do about it
  11. Thank you. By the way, has this been the longest and most popular topic ever?? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/laugh.gif
  12. QUOTE (5star @ Mar 2 2005, 06:41 PM) QUOTE I am now considering wether to carry on with this business or not, as it is going to involve much more work and travelling than I expected. You're trying to run before you can walk. It's quite obvious to me that you don't know enough about this business yet to run a national agency. Start small in your own local area. Visit DJs (and bands/singers) and if you like what they are doing give them a card and see if they want to sign up (at no cost to them). Visit venues and tell them what you can offer. These are things that cannot be done over the phone
  13. I need to have a serious chat with my business partner, because he is not based in Blackpool and therefore doing it locally isn't so straight forward. Your right I don't know much about the business and I will kick it with my business partner tonight and see what we conclude
  14. No that isn't true, research has been done and I do know DJ's. They were all willing to pay the £19.99 fee and I presumed nothing would change when I started advertising on here. around 10 DJ's paid the fee when I explained what it was for, no problem. I am looking into getting the fee removed though
