Thank you all for the confidence boost.. just came in to the house to find voice message from the person who phoned me. she spoke to a friend who I had done her childs party and she got rave review about my services so that is one booking in the kitty. also phoned a few school p.t.a. members today and got return bookings for crimbo school disco's as well as a halloween booking for a childrens club. as Esther Phillips says " What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours" so thats my down in the dumps session over with and as Bobby McFerrin say's, well we all know what Bobby said.

Is it just me or is anybody else quiet at the moment? I do mainly childrens parties and the first half of the year was great, bookings every weekend,diary full, then come the school holidays BOOM !!!! no bookings whatsoever in july Ihad 4 gigs in august non so far but 3 in the bag all on the one weekend, then one confirmed booking until the new year. Yes it is the school holidays, but still it's a bit of a worry. Someone phoned yesterday to enquire about a disco, and my self confidence was a bit low and I half heartidly gave my spiel..did not get the booking, which was down to

I do mainly childrens parties.. the big plus I am always home for 10 pm....

I have just bought a 2nd hand n.j.d quaser and was trying to find a suitable stand or lighting bar. the quaser weighs 18 kg. my over head bar holds 2x data moon 2x baby falcon and a wild tech orbitor. and my t.bar holds 1x njd chaos 1x njd blitzer and 2x njd micro lights .so I need a compact in expensive solution does anyone know of anything??????

Well I bought acme thingy. changing to kettle leads was a bit of a drag but it's finished now. It now sits proudly in a 1u rack waiting to be used. I have a njd blitzer, a njd chaos,a abyss chaos,a baby falcon and a wild tech orbitor which are not d.m.x controlled. I do mostly childrens parties where my main lights are 4 njd datamoons. What I am looking for is a controller where I can swop and change the 5 lights about without having to hunt around looking for the plug from each light to swop them over. I have a showtec stand chaser at present and was wondering if Icould use this as a controller. Iam lost on this matter thank you for looking any advice???? //My Webpage

Did a childs party last month during a saturday afternoon the mother talked away to me while I set up the t.bar with 4 lights on it still talking away as I set up 4 red lasers. then when I asked for the curtains to be closed so as the children could enjoy the lights that Ispent time setting up. She replied that she "wanted the curtains open" so during the party I just slowly packed away the lights. A few children asked if I did not have any lights and why did I not use them.
