  1. I would appreciate a simple guide to DMX. What do I need?
  2. Best form of advertisement is the personal recommendation.
  3. One other thing I noticed about that country was that it was without a doubt the most racist country I'd ever been to. Also many of the people were extremely arrogant and money/power obsessed! Such a shame as the countryside/nature/scenery were beautiful, just wasted on many of their obnoxious people... I should add, I'm referring to the German part of Switzerland. The French & Italian parts were far friendlier and nicer people. I think you see a different type of person working as a jock in a club. The nicer people do not go out to discos and nightclubs. Same everywhere. I wouldn't
  4. After a lot of thought I finally bought a TomTom One Navigation for my car. This was a couple of weeks ago. Before, I would print out a couple of street maps from a CD and use them to guide me to the gig. Not always a good idea, even in a small country like Switzerland where I work with my mobile disco + karaoke. There's also the in the car behind who could be a hot blooded italian in his little black Fiat trying to make me go faster and study the maps at the same time. So, I went out and bought a TomTom One. I worked in clubs in Basel & Berne in the 80's and did Norway as well, indeed, CS (Chris Shepherd) has been living in northern Norway (Bodo) for over 20 years. I also did a stint in Bodo, where I met Chris. I'm presuming you used to work for one of Juliana's, Bacchus, IDEA, Norbizness? What's the music scene like where you work? some of the
  6. Checking in to say hello. Haven't got a lot to say because I got home today at 5.30 am after doing a wedding gig in the eastern part of Switzerland. I've been a jock since 197..something working firstly in Majorca for Thomson holidays, then a five month club tour of Denmark before going to Norway. where I stayed as a jock doing it as a hobby and other things. Finally gave up with Norway and came to Switzerland where I worked in clubs and now I do it full time again. Working 2-3 times a week in the summer keeps me going over the winter months. My family live in north west England although I com
