I've just done my first outdoor gig and i've had a little too much power.
the size of the area i had to over was just over 2 football fields in size and i was asked o provide basic music.
so i thought i might use my new JBL PRO JRX 125 i got a good deal on them so i bought 4 and used all of them at the event. add to that 2 * TAPCO J2500 amps i thought that should be enough.
How wrong was I
when i did the sound test i blew out windscreen of the van at the other end of the park.
after much testing i was using onlt 2 speaker and the mixer at a very low level.
