  1. Mine have overheated as well. I had them two months before changing them for something else. I changed to RCF ART 322A's and not had a single problem.
  2. Would be a big mistake going for mackie. I made the mistake myself. Still they are good speakers but i had a pair of SRM450s for 2 month before buying something to replace them. The problem with the mackies is they are prone to overheating and cutting out. I would look into some RCF tops 310a 312a 322a one of them they are a lot more reliable.
  3. Just changed my system from a HK Audio Lucas 1000 to a pair of Mackie SRM450s with a RCF ART 705as subwoofer sounds amazing!!
  4. i used to call mine deckspin!! 12 years ago!! bah...... much prefer my name now.
  5. Gary Glitter. Who'd wanna be in his gang anyway? I dont play Gary Glitter nowadays. he's completely sick. I dont get any requests for him..... if they ask ill say i havent got it...... even though i have. or say to them Who's Gary Glitter? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif job done.
  6. QUOTE DJ Twin & Leonna - PC Repairs (Great when missus & kids break pc's) thats if they can get to it first http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif
  7. for less than £200 you can get a shure VHF SM58 radio mic! either that or an AKG
  8. Denon all the way i wouldnt recommend anything else. I made the change last year to denon. had mine over a year now. Superb I noticed the difference in quality straight away. If i had to buy a new player ever its between denon pioneer or tascam (nothing else!) if ya dont have the cash for them makes id suggest ebay. or 2nd hand.
  9. Im currently running a pair of Peavey Impulse 1012s they do the job fine for me but im looking at upgrading within the year to electrovoice SXA360s with SBA-760 subs. either that or the mackie srm450s and swa1501s
  10. Dell Computers Field Engineer Out on the road fixing the computers.
  11. I used to have The CDN22 player and it wasnt a bad little player. Put it this way you could do a lot worse by buying another make in the same price range. But the numark is good for the price. It should serve you well.
  12. I had a job last sat night just gone something come in but i didnt get a very good chance. because we got let in late so we were in a rush i did set it up. but i didnt use it for long. but im going to tune it properly on my next job. I picked some stands up from that Guy at Mercury AV where you got your mic from. Proel Lightweight speaker stands with carry bag £49.99 good stands too!
  13. 99% of my music is the original copy As i only have about 3 copied discs. with tracks ive had to get for people. as a last resort. If im asked for a track...... i will find a retailer for it and if the worst come to the worst id download it and put it onto a cd. yeah its illegal. But if im doing someones wedding or something like that id sooner result to the odd download. rather than having to tell them that i couldnt get their track anywhere. which is very rare.
