  1. Up here its thru Disclosure Scotland who do the checks but its the same thing.
  2. Yes, I do actually. Do you? Working with kids on a regular basis its a must through full time job. Ask the question how many times kids have appeared in your area behind starcloths or booths.
  3. Question for you all, I did a kids after school club christmas disco last Wed after the schools broke up here, it was 3 local primary schools with a communal hall they use for the club. Now half way thru a 3 hr job one of the lady helpers came and asked me to step in as Santa as they had been let down by the local community copper. Would you oblige? Options as I saw it were 1 Do it, cant let the kids down 2 Do it, cant let the kids down, but they would notice the DJ is amazingly missing at the same time 3 Say no I'll give my answer later after some replies.
  4. I pick up few tips from watching on You tube, the directions that came with the controller might have well been written in Swaheli.
  5. Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries is a good one also
  6. I guess thats why its called HOMEplug
  7. I bought a Homeplug set up a couple of years back, I had an extension built and where my office is now in the house I got a very very weak signal if I got a signal at all. One plug goes directly into the socket with an ethernet cable from the router into it. I also have two other plugs which have wireless and cable connectivity on them. The main pc is cabled into one of them but I can take the laptop up and it runs on the wireless side of the unit no problems, no speed loss that I can notice or drop in wireless signal, so if your garden shed/summerhouse is on a circuit thats from your consumer
  8. OOO quick post a link, just incase I get for a Morris Dance track at the weekend :lol2:
  9. Sounds like something from an early 80s Porn movie. Disclaimer: Not that i know personally :ads: but I did ask a couple of friends and thats what they said it was :msn-wink:
  10. Country dancing fella, not ballroom. My reply was a thinly veiled wind up at being offended by it. Like has been mentioned a Jimmy Shand compilation will tell you what type of dance the track is suitable for i.e a Dashing white sergeant, a strip the willow, a canadian barn dance or the Gay Gordons. If any of you in Englandshire get asked for any of them, just say well you better know how to dance to it, cos trying to explain them will take you all night Out of interest if I get asked for something that people can Morris Dance to what should I play? :joe:
  11. Well your ignorance and thinly veiled rascist comments will not gain you any advice from the tartan contingent within the forum thats for sure.
  12. Nolans gets requested at virtually every gig, usually by women of a certain age (40+) then they get everyone up
  13. I have an regular job in a popular pub up here caters most ages but it seems to be the younger ones who ask for it, its gone full circle I get women of a certain age asking for Alexandra Burke or Lady Gaga and the teens/early 20s asking for all the 'cheesey' stuff. Its all so confusing :lol
  14. Sorry if it is confusing chap, but I thought you meant the ones you had marked ???? you wanted to remove, thats what I was agreeing to bar the Nolans I would have kept that.
  15. I agree with all the ones you have ?????? bar the Nolans, some others thru my experience I wouldnt have near the list but hey ho.
