  1. I'd get rid of the splash page, it's no good for SEO.
  2. Here's a link to the Traktor forum on the Native Instruments website. You should find plenty of info here.
  3. Welcome along Mark. I've recently just started up again after a break from the scene as well.
  4. I bought a couple of Prolight wind up T-bars a while back and it was the best thing I ever did. No more struggling, sweating trying to lift the T-bars up loaded with lights. I'm looking at getting rid of the actual T-bar bits now and getting a 3m piece of truss to go across the 2 stands.
  5. Mr Brightside without a doubt. Brings people running to the dancefloor.
  6. So I've decided to purchase 4x LED Par 56 cans to go on my 2 T-bars alongside my 4 existing lighting effects (2x Datamoons and 2x Scimitars) to complete my set up as I have 4 spaces free. I've narrowed it down to these 2 choices: http://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_led_pa...alu_schwarz.htm http://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_led_pa..._silver_rgb.htm Can anyone offer any advice as I don't know a lot about LED Par lights! Many thanks for any advice/experience shared.
  7. Hi I currently use 2x Datamoons 2x Super Leos 2x Scimitars set up on 2 x T-bars It looks great when the lights are turned down low later in the evening but the set up doesn't look much from across the other side of the room earlier in the evening. I need something else to hang from the T-bars that'll make the set up look better from a distance. I'm thinking maybe 4x LED Par 56 cans as I generally take the 2 Datamoons and 2 other lights, so I've got 4 free holes on the T-bars. Any advice and suggestions on this gratefully received. Mark
  8. Gonna be using Traktor I think. Not sure if you can create playlists with it, will have to have a look. Great idea that though.
  9. I'm about to make the transition from using CD's to using a Laptop and a Numark Omni Control controller at gigs. I've been pondering on what would be the best way to arrange my music files on my computer. I'm thinking maybe have folders such as Party, Motown, Rock etc and then inside each folder have all tracks from that genre but also a folder named something like 'essentials' and put all the biggest and most popular tracks in that folder. Obviously the problem with that is some tracks will fit into many genres. I'm interested in how you guys arrange your music on your har
  10. Thanks for all the comments on these fellas. I decided not to bother with them in the end. I've seen Hisys bins go for about £150 on ebay, so Im gonna keep an eye out for something like that. I'm not in any rush for them.
  11. Cheers for the reply Dave I've got the NJD 561's at the moment. I'm looking at running the bass bins with a separate amp.
  12. Hi I'm looking for some bass bins to have in case I need more sound for bigger venues etc. I seen these on Ebay and wondered if anyone has any experience with them? From what I can find out they are a budget (ish) Peavey speaker and don't use the Black Widow driver and use jack plug sockets rather than Speakon. As I say I only intend to have the bassbins as a backup in case I need them on bigger gigs. Any thoughts on these gratefully received. Thanks
  13. Has anyone bought one of these cloths? Are they any good? Might well invest in one if they are alright.
  14. Great stuff. I'll get that ordered. Thanks very much for your help. It's much appreciated.
