  1. ADS..... my heart goes out to you (really!). Toothache is the worst... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/sadwalk.gif I found that Ibuprofen 12 hour (or somthing like that) was the only thing that worked for me a couple of years ago when I had problems. It's a painkiller that is constantly working to kill the pain over a period of time (longer than 12 hours I found) rather than the quick sharp release that other pain killers give. Like I said... it was all that worked for me and my dentist swears by them. Hope you get this sorted out soon http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//e
  2. If you do go with O2 Eskie.... DO NOT go via The Carphone Whorehouse. They act as their own service provider and their customer support is known throughout O2 as the absolute pits. I always advise customers to go direct to the Vodafone or O2 stores. You can be sure you are dealing with the main network Service Provider direct and not some chancer of a reseller company. Not always the best initial deals, however but the after sales and support is so much better. (Although when I went into the O2 store to get my upgrade today - lovely Sony Ericsson K750i http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//em
  3. It's not a thing that has ever taken off round these parts but I have played Goldie's - Inner City Life (roni size remix) in the past..... nice tune http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/flirt.gif Strangely enough.... back in the late eighties, I believe a mate and I accidentally discovered Drum and Bass (well, the drum bit of it anyway). We used to have a home studio and inspired by the likes of Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May we were set to make our mark on Detroit Techno history (okay... North Leeds Techno then http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif ). All went to plan
  4. Nothing...... I loose the will to live for a few days after playing 'Come On Eileen' http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/yucky.gif Oh.... okay.... There is no set pattern... each night is different and each crowd reads differently. I tend to go with what seems right at the time http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif
  5. Well the chart has been published and Stevie Wonder's excellent new tune has scraped in at No19 http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/014.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/signdammit.gif Just another example of why the singles charts count for so little, in my opinion, when utter http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/censored2.gif like Game Ft 50 Cent or Jennifer Lopez Ft Fat Joe (can't these people make a record alone or something???) can out sell the quality in such a way!
  6. I didn't know The Sex Pistols released an album called "Never Mind" http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif You scaredy cat http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif
  7. Why thank you one and all http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/cool.gif ...and me such a rare visitor to these parts too http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif I have not been able to log onto this forum for some bizarre reason for a few days (thought I'd been 'locked out' http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/oops.gif ) Thanks again!

I've got it on MF164 but I'm pretty sure it has been re-released since then. There is a link to a somewhat out of date Mastermix track listing Here on Excel (1.5mb / Right Click - 'save target as') that may give more information http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif

QUOTE (Kingy @ Feb 28 2005, 07:53 PM) I think the only mega mix I use on a regular basis is "Soul Banana", a product of Music Factory. Amazing, phenomenal mega-mix Kingy http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif It achieves what very few commercial mixes do.... it actually enhances the original tracks (well from a dancefloor point of view anyway) I'm always guaranteed a 100% success rate with this one http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif With the occasional exception of the Grease mix and a pretty good Take That mega-mix - it's the only one I ever

    Jive Bunny!

Eskie That is indeed fighting talk where I come from http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fish.gif Luckily, you are not where I come from, so I'll let you off! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/offtopic.gif Lines from a British wartime B-Movie (I forget the title) when the main character has been 'asked outside' for a fight..... Man With a grudge: Why I ought to take you outside and make an example of you right now. Old crone at the bar: That's right Bert, you take him round the back and give him a right good *

With my reputation..........................? What were you thinking Eskie..... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbdown.gif (A resounding never!) http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/whistling.gif
  12. Play non stop Christmas tracks by way of background music during the meal! By the time the disco starts.... everyone has had their fill of Christmas tunes (which are by and large, pretty awful, let's face it http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thumbdown.gif ) and it is very rare that a request is made for one to actually dance to http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thumbup.gif Christmas........ http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/yucky.gif Bah Humbug!!! (apart from the hefty pay cheque http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/drool.gif )
  13. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I really must get round to checking this video out sometime http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/boff.gif
  14. I work for them as stated and have a lot of control over the running of my account.... I would not want a lot to do with them otherwise http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/bash.gif Some of their policies are truly and utterly bizarre and non customer friendly. As for the prepay arm of O2............. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/scared.gif And don't get me started on the IT side of things....... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/ranting.gif (rant off, if only to save my job hee hee!!) PMs about to be viewed http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/smile.
