  1. I've been meaning to post a playlist for a few days, but just hadn't got around to it. When we arrived, the stereo was pumping out chart tunes, so I started off with similar stuff, only to be told that the stuff I was playing was crap and that people wanted a load of Iron Maiden, ACDC and modern indie tunes. Suffice to say, I was happy to oblige. One More Chance Bloc Party Farewell to the Fairground White Lies Thunderstruck ACDC Paradise City Guns N' Roses If Everybody Looked the Same Groove Armada Let's Get It Started Black Eyed Peas Bonkers Dizzee Rasca
  2. It wasn't from Warrior's Dance - although if you remember, we did have people doing the Macarena dance to the breakdown in the middle of Warrior's dance, much to my amusement/confusion/despair. The actual mix was from House of Pain - Jump Around into The Macarena. I had them beat matched, and kept teasing the crowd with the first five notes of Macarena from about the second verse onwards - they all knew what was coming, so when I finally brought it in properly at the end, the crowd just went wild. Good times.
  3. Burn speed isn't usually as important as using good quality CDRs. Most cheap CDRs are garbage - they'll usually work OK for burning data, but it's not worth taking the risk when you need to rely on the content being readable at a gig in ancient CD player that's never been cleaned. If I'm burning important CDs for long term use, I'll usually use Taiyo Yuden CDs. I have to mail order them in and they're relatively expensive, but I've never had a failed burn or a problem with reading them. I generally order them from http://www.dvdshoponline.co.uk/P152.html.
