  1. Iv'e got this running on ebay, but open to sensible offers for a quick sale. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290360079735
  2. Its one of those chicken or the egg questions. There is no definitive answer really. We do our best, can't do more than that.
  3. Sounds like she's signed you up for the army matey. Iraq I reckon
  4. A wedding at a local golf club on saturday. Had a sheet of A4 full of songs/artists they like & its virtually all MOR pop & cheese. Right up my street lol.
  5. Fair enough, maybe I mis-read the reply.. No worries. I'm not a connoseur of LED's but yes I'm sure that the LED stuff I have out performs halogen at a distance, and the colours never fade too which is a big plus. I still have a couple of halogen, but they are heavy & clumsy so I'll certainly be phasing them out when I can. Anyway, each to his own. there wouldn't be much to discuss if we all chose to use the same stuff eh
  6. Hmm... that reads as quite a hostile reply to an honest post. Ok let's get something clear, firstly I have 20 years experience and I'm not stupid enough to point lights into people's faces as you imply. And secondly have you directed a halogen onto a wall 50 feet away alongside an LED and seen which one holds its brightness best? This is a forum, and everyone is entitled to their opinions by the way.
  7. Interesting post. I really didn't think there were many people who weren't converted to LED at first sight. I know that I am virtually all LED now and swear by them. I can't say I know of many real drawbacks in my case personally. So what do I like about LED's? .. Weight, Colours & brightness, No worrying about letting them cool after a gig, and one other thing is that I don't have complaints about the lights dazzling people as I found with halogen.
  8. Not to mention Amazon :omg: Edit: I just did a quick google and found this, which if correct gives the all clear. When purchasing a laser please check that the system has ALL of the following features ... this will ensure that the laser system complies fully with both UK and European regulations. If any one of the following is missing, the laser system will be illegal to operate within the UK: Please ensure that the laser system... 1. Is encased within a protective housing, which apart from the laser aperture, will prevent you direct access to the laser module and therefore
  9. Ah I see. Well in that case no there isn't a cover although the mirrors seem well recessed. Well out of harms way so to speak.
  10. Point taken, but I'm a pretty new member so Iv'e trawled a lot of really old posts, and it seems a bit late for a personal response to some of them really.
  11. Hi Jim. I'm not sure what I'm looking for properly regarding the window. The actual laser appears to be side on as I look directly from the front. The key cannot be removed from the on position. And yes it is CE marked.
  12. Sorry but I couldn't find a place to post this lol. What are the chances of having thank you buttons on the forum? .. I for one get a lot of useful tips & info and it would be nice to thank posters of useful posts.
  13. Yes, thats the green 30mw version Robster.
  14. I mentioned in another thread that I had ordered this, and what a bargain it could turn out to be. Well it arrived yesterday & although this is the first laser I have owned I challenge anyone to buy one and be disappointed! This same laser is selling on Amazon for just under £120, and elsewhere at even higher prices. I picked it up for the princely sum of £50 (Yes £50!) It has a nice contoured look to it, and is a doddle to operate. a 20 second burst of smoke shows it off to its full potential, so much that even the missus was impressed! You get two keys, and a full instruction m
  15. Actually they don't. I got carried away lol.
