I really enjpy DJ'ing and lighting effects using DMX controlled lights and lasers. I enjoy off-roading in my long-wheel base Frontera (I need this to fit all my gear in), computers, listening to commercial dance / trance etc. I like buying new clothes, and gadgets for my car and in car lighting effects etc. Being a DJ, yes I have an amp, 2x - 6"x9" 175W JBL speakers and a 500W Sub-woofer. The head unit is a Kenwood MP3 player, small lights that flash to the beat of the music, so you could say my car is a minature niteclub.
  1. DJ Insurance, my rig is massive and the value (not insurance value), the amount of money I have spent comes to £12,500. I have this insured, protected for in car theft and £2,000 000 public liability. It cost me £275 to get this cover, my gear is insured anywhere in the UK and for 30 days of every 6 months abroad. when the gear is my car you have to keep it covered up. To get a quote goto: www.musicguard.co.uk I think I spelt it right - if not search on Google for Music Guard or Pavillion Insurance you can get you insurance over the web and save a fiver. They do insurance not just for
  2. To start with, I have much experience in world of DJ'ing and DMX Lighting. My rig comprises of the latest in sound mixing software (over £1000), hardware and sound processing equipment such as graphic equalizers, feedback destroyers etc. My speakers are JBL EON G2's these you can buy for approx. £500 per cabinet, all I could afford at the time, but they are excellent. I have a £1500 Green Laser system and 16 lighting effects that many are DMX Controlled. Music Scenario - 30th Birthday Party, 150 people, age range 15 yrs - 65 yrs, buffet at 9:00pm start time: 7:30 end time: 11:30 N
