been reading another thread,anbd everyone who has replied seems tobe pretty close to home on nye.so is anyone got a function a long way from home.

who's got the most distance to travel on that night.allowing for traffic we are 5 mins away

I live in Horsham, Sussex, and I am working in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk with an overnight stay, and I am being paid well for the work. This is the 5th year running.... Before, I have worked in the new forest and Kent on NYE.

 

Might have said this to you already, but if you fancy a pint and a natter on NYE, I'm just down the road!

Most folk on NYE want to stay close to home, to avoid drunk drivers and always a reasonable risk of ice/snow.

 

the only thing ill need to avoid is drunks on golf buggys and getting sun burn.....
