Have been asked to do a bit of DJing in the evening for a conference. Function room already has sound & Lighting provided (along with a breakout box or something to plug into on the stage, as you're not allowed into the "box" )... milhouse 0 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Share Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) I was resident DJ back in 2001-04! Did plenty of gigs in the Paradise Room. It is absolutely massive. No idea why you are not allowed in the DJ box - it is an ok box but you are quite "hidden". If they want you on the stage then Im sure thats fine! The PA is capable of handling a full band if needs be, its huge. Tops suspended from the ceiling by cables and enough bass to bring the place down. Usually technicians on standby all night too from "Stageworks" who are owned by the people who own the Pleasure beach. PM me if you want any more details.
