fester 0
Yep... don't go for a main light. If you want to light the dance floor get yourself a second hand pair of good quality moonflowers. I use EVL spins (I bought a pair in top condition with flightcase for £130). Many DJ's will rave about the NJD datamoons or the Twister HP4. Go for any of those. Nice and bright, good coverage, good built in programs and best of all, colour wheels and gobo's not just red, green and blue dots. There's a few pairs of datamoons on ebay for round about £120-135 at the moment. Craig Dance Sounds Disco http://www.discosheffield.co.uk

fester 0
It's good as a room filling effect (if you like dots), but the OP was asking about something for the middle of the dancefloor. I've got a similar effect myself I sometimes use in really big rooms although I usually use it aimed higher towards the ceiling. In my opinion a pair of decent flowers master/slaved or dmx'ed to light the dancefloor are hard to beat. Craig Dance Sounds Disco http://www.discosheffield.co.uk

nrgize 0
The ADJ Revo 4's are good. But I managed to find a light thats exactly the same. In fact I think the KAM ones are brighter and have more built in functions. http://images.getinthemix.co.uk/30/1329221119_99.jpg Have seen some of these on eBay for sale brand new for £80-£90. I have 2 of these and am very chuffed with them. :funjokeandlaugh: Email :: info@nrgize-disco.co.uk
