sputnick007 0
I would like to swap my passive speakers for active and would like to know how low windup speaker stands go before raising. I do not want to upset my back anymore.
spinner 0
Those that I have seen go almost as low as ordinary stands (allowing for the winch pods).
Partyprint 0
Alternatively lie the speaker on its side, and slide the speaker stand in, then you can share the weight of the speaker with the speaker stand as you lift. Wedding Dj in Liverpool

Hi, this is a good point as stands with winches are heavier to carry in the first place. If you are buying some lightweight speakers, mackie 450s are only 20kgs then by connecting them to the stand as suggested above on the floor and lifting them p is not a bad idea! http://www.discoinsussex.co.uk Http://www.discoinsussex.co.uk Heart and Soul Wedding and Party Disco in Sussex and Surrey
Tonsk 0
My active speakers weighed 29kg and were excellent. But, as I'm not getting any younger, I sold them after 5years and bought some new 12" EVs. 1000 watts and only 16kg each.
