Just bought one of these and used it with my big rig the other day.

 

full rig is

 

Proel sb15 subs with JBL 215 tops

 

Driving these with the yammy.

 

what a sound! clear tops and punchy bass . Weighs in at about 14 kg as well.

 

i would recommend these.

 

i paid £400 for it

 

output at 4ohm is 750w rms

 

i never wound it up past halfway and the sound was FAB

I had one of those once, didn't pass my forklift truck test so couldn't lift it to gigs....

Great sound though, I had it with Peavey tops and bass bins.

.....but what do I know ?

I've looked at the Yamaha 5000 P in use with 2 15" subs and 2 15" tops. Possibly the Peavey Messenger Pro Series. However your speakers seem notably more powerful! 215's!!! Thats 2x15" drivers right! Huge things... I may look at a smaller Yamaha model then. What do u think?

 

For the same price as 2 mackie srm 450's, the sound of this kind of rig must be better...
