  1. How much £££ of lighting is that? Very impressive for the size...
  2. The behringer EP 2500 for £190 now seems like a much nicer option?
  3. Yeh same situation here. I'm going to get a EP 2500 since its amazing value for money. £190 for 750 watts @ 4 ohms. But i don't know what speakers to get to use with it, any advice? Not breaking the bank, 15" cab suggestions...
  4. LOL none of you know the hassles of google search! I had mates telling me they came across dodgy porn sites when looking for my website: www.seandiamond.piczo.com I'm after business yeh, but.... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fear.gif lol In the end it has reached #1/2 now on most engines for sean diamond so http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif I do a lot of internet radio and know a lot of other DJ's so links get banded about easily, helps your ranking...
  5. I've looked at the Yamaha 5000 P in use with 2 15" subs and 2 15" tops. Possibly the Peavey Messenger Pro Series. However your speakers seem notably more powerful! 215's!!! Thats 2x15" drivers right! Huge things... I may look at a smaller Yamaha model then. What do u think? For the same price as 2 mackie srm 450's, the sound of this kind of rig must be better...
  6. For £50 more in the Mackie range, why aren't these any more popular??? http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/options.php?id=67562
  7. Bare in mind i play dance music and normally at high volumes - so you have to shout to talk!
  8. What is the size/weight/sound difference between the 15" version and the 18" model. Which would you reccomend? Also a setup of 2 SRM450's and a sub would set you back £1.5k. Is it worth it and what size venues can you play to with such kit...
  9. Some very good advice in here. I'm looking at investing in a PA system. My DJ setup already consists of over £2K of kit, so whilst i want to maintain quality in my PA, i don't want to be daft in my spending - out of money now! I like many many others in this thread looking at the Peavey Messenger Pro's. 2 15" tops and 2 15" subs with inbuilt high pass filters for £250 each pair is appealing. (One person mentioned they had blackwidow drivers, i was under the impression only the UL series featured these?) Rated at 250 watts continuous each; what amp wattage should i be looking at? I've looked
  10. Hey there. I use Rane's Serato Scratch LIVE. I think you'll find the technology has come a long way, and whilst i have never tried it with cds, mixing vinyl with it is 100% perfect. I've used it nearly every other weekend playing out alongside real vinyl and it has been flawless...
