If i found that i was having any troubles then i would have inform the customer and if it still continued then i would ask the manager to have them removed and if they were not removed i would have to turn all my equipment off and wait until the guests had left or the troubled guest was removed then i would start again. I would have to say as to what all have been saying how could you pack up it would take like an hour and you would people heckling, swearing, shouting and not just that if you on your own do you take the chance of leaving your gear while you are back and forth taking it to t

  4. QUOTE (Hugmaster @ Aug 12 2003, 10:07 AM) Spoke to the bride who told us to just carry on what we were doing and to ignore the groom. In the end had to play the half hour of beatles as worried for my safety and the gear. had threats for the rest of the night from groom and his budies, usually stuff, we're gonna do ya over and trash ya car etc. Then get this, end of the night duty manager of the hotel come and start effing and verbally abusing us saying if he's paying for the do, he gets exactly what we want. Plitely informed that we dont play to individuals, we are entertainers and do

  10. QUOTE (BigE @ Aug 8 2003, 11:51 AM) HugMaster, as a reds fan there's nothing wrong with 'You'll Never walk alone'. Can you imagine my horror then after just being asked to play Everton's Z Cars theme tune at a surprise 60th next week (which is my first 60th and also my first surprise birthday do). i would be very careful because from my experience playing LFC or EFC songs only causes fighting and trouble, so be very careful http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/1028.gif
  11. QUOTE (Chris_Pointon @ Jun 18 2003, 10:03 PM) I mentioned this previously, but a Roadie of mine once played:- "You'll Never Walk alone" as the last track at a Disco for the disabled!. I have to say Chris the last time i played Youll Never Walk Alone (which was about 5 years ago) there was murder glasses getting flung, fighting the whole club went crazy and that was alesson learned
