BigBen 0
This venue really is a joy to play. The ballroom is in fact two rooms with a temporary wall that can be removed relatively easily. Big ceiling for pointing your lights at, big dance floor, bar in adjacent room, set-up 10 feet from exit, park right next to exit - superb! In my opinion, the only problem is that you have to wait until the daytime function (wedding breakfast) has concluded before you can move your vehicle around to the loading point otherwise all the guests will see you arriving and sitting there waiting. Not exactly the professional image we are trying to portray! Because of this you can either go and wait by the bar or keep popping your head around the wall. The other problem is you need a token to get out the car park. Only obtainable from Reception - about three minutes walk away. [insert quirky comment]
