treen74 0
Hi, I was out at a local social club at the weekend with the family and after the attending had experienced the Irish night (was a good night, the guiness was great) the landlady's hubby pulled out a laptop and plugged it into the clubs pa system and a karaoke session ensued. It got me thinking (bearing in mind my move to NZ in August) - I wouldnt mind such an addition to my Mobile Disco. I've looked at Ebay and there are lots of laptops with various MBs. Im not very tech-savvy so dont know know what I should be looking for if I want a Laptop to play Karaoke tunes. (He had alot of tracks btw and just punched in the 3-figured song number and off it went. How will he have obtained all those tracks? From a disc or would someone have downloaded them all into its memory) I sang Rhinestone Cowboy btw http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/beer.gif http://a2bdiscomanchester.blogspot.com/
BigBen 0
Landlord + laptop karaoke = illegal. A tad harsh maybe, but I bet I'm right. On the other hand, I would love to find out more about legal laptop karaoke too. [insert quirky comment]

Provided you retain ownership of the original CDG disc. Jimbo Digital Fusion Entertainments Bose L1 system user.
