Raymilkybarkid 0
Hi Folks I have now been a DJ for 25 years this month. Having started at 18 DJing in a local pub as a mobile in 1983 with my old trusty Fal Mono Decks ( I still have them) After a couple of years the mobile work was in full bloom with regular work EVERY Friday - Sunday and I had a following of fans. It was during this time I was aproached to DJ In Magaluf, The offer was made and i took the opertunty, I Jacked in my apprenticeship and followed my dream. I was now a FULL time DJ. I did 2 years in Magaluf and returned back to the UK for the next 10 years or so I workd in many clubs and bars in the UK, with the occasional mobile gig. Then I was offered a opertuninty to DJ in pubs around the UK for the next 8 years for Allied Breweries. I now am back to the mobile work specialising in Weddings and 30 - 50th Birthdays. I have no regrets on my choice of career and have loved every second of it. I have now slipped into a Proper Job as my family would say (Working in the family Business). I would offer any new comers some advice think carefully if you are to take the same path as myself..... Its is fantastic career but remember there is no scocial life your mates are going to the pub etc you are working, Freinds and Family events are on the weekends you will be working...Girlfriends love the I going out with a DJ for a while but trust me this changes. That the DOOM and Gloom out of the way, If you want some advise I may be able to help Professional DJ Since 1983 - Having worked in Clubs, Pubs, Mobile and Radio in the UK and Europe 29 Years Experience and still learning.
