I'm currently a student studying music at the University of Wyoming, and I've been curious about DJing for awhile, but as a starving student I've had to save up for awhile to finally make the plunge. As a music student I've been kinda force fed alot of classical stuff, and I doubt that it will help me understand all aspects of music if i want to make a profession out of playing. So, I thought I might give scratching a try! I'm really new at this but I'm pretty excited about learning something new, and seeing what I can do.
