Worst Party Ever!

Hi Guys,

 

Just thought I'd have a quick moan on here about a recent party I did.

 

I get a phone call for a Valentine's wedding, awww sounds good. Two people in love getting married on such a special day.

 

Couldn't be further from the truth!!

 

The reception was in Wythenshawe and we started at 2.30pm and was due to finish around midnight.

 

There were 14 people for the day time buffet and for some reason only the same amount for the night time.

No matter what we played they weren't happy, they only asked for modern R & B.

 

The Bride and Groom constantly argued for the full day, no first dance.

 

Every minute felt like an hour and I was so close to giving them their money back and going home.

 

Luckily for us the guy that run the place told us to get the music off at 10.30pm, I could of kissed him!!

 

Anyone else had a similar nightmare??

Been there done that however not all of your encounters all at once. Unlucky.

 

Best advice i was given is forget about it and move on!

 

never give up on a gig and certainly never give them a refund in such cases. it wasnt your fault and regardless of who they had booked, nothing would have been different.

 

I know its easy for me to say this but believe me i have been there and after a bad run last year had second thoughts about carrying on.
