  1. hi all i opperate the policy that if the drink is put down on my equipment i pour it away!!! back in the dark ages of the 1970's/80's we had a slight slope on the front of our light boxes so that if a drink was put on them it would slide off and soak the erson who had just put it there, good for a laugh!!!

  7. hi i must be sad i use a h&s tick sheet and a safe working practice sheet with my statement of intent on it. mind my wife is a h& s rep for her place of work so i ought to try and be right! if anyone wants copies please e mail me at sounds_supreme@btinternet.com and I will forward them to you.
  8. i myself use cable tie as they are just there as a fail safe not to hold the light, i myself can not see the point of using cains wires etc when there is no fixing point on the lamp housing its self all you are keeping in place is the bracket! when i worked for maplin we did use the wires but i pointed out that they were not going to stop the lamp falling as they are not attached to it
  9. glad to see i am not alonr on using a uv great 70's effect love it to bits reminds me of my younger days!!!
