It does depend, but between 500 and 750 unique hits per month

There's a common myth that hit's and visit's are the same.

A hit could be any part of your site, e.g. a common sentence/word "mobile disco" etc that shows up SOMEwhere in google etc. It will appear regardless of if the site is visited or not.

A visit is an actual visit to your site.

So therefore a unique visit is the only true reading, I use AWstats too.

I think that's where we're all coming from!

often wonderd just what was classed as a hit ??? as shown below this is from this year there is a big difference between unique visitors & hits

so would each Unique visitors hits be counted by ip addresses so if you dont have a static ip the same visitor could be counted again ???

I've only just reset my stats as I'm still juggling things about, but I have been getting between 3 & 10 hits per day, although only about a quarter of those come directly as a result of search words, the rest being nosey and popping in from other unrelated pages on my site.

I'd like rather more than this to find their way to me as a direct result of searching, but for now it'll have to do.

Also interesting to see what keywords were being used when they found my site - can be amusing at times!
