TonyB 0
My Nephew asked me to have a look at his laptop with Vista installed Monday. It was booting up but no icons were showing and the hard drive was working overtime. It is a Packard Bell and has (had) Norton installed. I suspected a virus and uninstalled Norton (which protested that it still had 294 days left to run before license renewal). Installed AVG and set it to scan and it found 2904 viruses. Probably the worst I've seen and ended up doing a full system restore but with AVG instead of Norton. And I thought Vista was supposed to be more secure.
