dh140770 0
I like the work of Paul Van Dyk and BT - Flaming June is a great track. Trance seems to have evolved over the years so I go through phases ... i was more of a 90s / early 2000s trance person I think. Maybe i'm getting old. Still love drum and bass though ... though my audience dont! ---------------------------- Thanks ... Dave Wired For Sound Discos
Danno13 0
Like Dave, I was/am a fan of the turn of the millenium type trance.. but alot of the kiddie clubland type stuff claims to be trance these days, and I don't like that stuff at all. deejaymitch 0
Dance music in general is a funny subject for me. I hate the derivative commercial rubbish like Cascada and Basshunter, but love cheesy 90s Happy Hardcore. Incredibly I've seen examples of both being included in Trance compilations. As is true of so much music though, genre classifications are very hard to define. There are some incredible real Trance tracks out there, which I love. But in general, it's not my thing. I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Including club residencies, karaoke, pub quizzes, specialised wedding service, Master of Ceremonies, Compere, Night at the Races and much more.
