I am looking at either the Opera 412's or the 415's but I am not sure what the real difference is apart from about £50 and the size of the main driver! They have the same output, they weigh the same, the only difference I can see is the max. SPL (126 db for the 415's and 128 db for the 412's). http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/wacko.gif Why would anyone buy the 415's and has anyone else got any feedback on these babies before I part with my hard earned? Down to personal choice really, I would do an A/B comparison in the shop and see which you prefer. Sound is a very personal thing. Incidentally, I didnt buy either. funkymook 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Report Share Posted January 14, 2005 You're going to get a better bass response from the 15" speakers, so if there's not much difference in price, spl, weight etc I'd definitely go for the 15"s...my DB 215's sound much less 'boxy' than my RCF ART 300's 12"s.
