Cheezy 0
Used my new radio mic for the first time, the Numark WM32. It is a VHF type. Ordered on line for £50 inc delivery. I always wanted a radio mic but could not stretch to senheiser of audio technica. Saw the WM32 and for the money i'd give it a try! It is a standard size hand held mic taking a 9v battery (inc. althoughI've changed it for a branded alkaline type), with a separate reciever powered by a 12V wall transformer and a mic lead. Dead easy to use and excellent value for money! OK it does feel a bit light, the led on the mic is slightly wonky but sounds great. The transformer arrived with a broken earth pin, but a new transformer was sent within 24hrs....excellent service from Newmark. Seems much less prone to feedback than my leaded mic. Now wait to see the durability! Cheezy Nightsounds
Kingy 0
So its arrived with a broken earth pin and a "wonky" LED? It would have gone straight back for a replacement. The led is on the board so there could be other loose components.
Cheezy 0
By wonky I meant the LED doesn't line up with the viewing hole. It is not loose. It has a good feature that the LED only flashes once when you switch the radio mic on. This will save 10-15mA drain from the battery! Let you know how it suvives the weekend! Cheezy 0
But how much is a shure SM58? The WM32 is not used as my main mic, this is leaded Senheiser, I use it for audience interaction and at weddings for speeches etc. Cheezy
YourBigEvent 0
If used for wedding surely a UHF rather than a VHF would have been better value ? .....but what do I know ? Your Big Event Office:01803 813540 Direct: 0797 0717 448 e.mail:info@yourbigevent.co.uk
cj_65 0
I have to admit I'm with Cheezy on this one - I bought a cheap UHF mike to hand out to people rather than use myself - cost £40 and has been going strong for a year now. It's been dropped, dribbled on, sprayed with various fluids 8( My plan was to upgrade when I had the cash but I've just never needed to.

Digital discos 0
I won this Numark Wm32 in a competition so I'm not complainig but the sound quality isn't very good tbh... the range neither.. Don't get me wrong for 50 its a good value for money but it really isnt up too much... My advice would be to save up and get a better radio mic..

Jason v G 0
C.J. Which mic is that? the UHF for £40 I mean. Could do with one myself as I don't like handing the sennheiser out to people. Jason Pik 'n' Mix Discos - Derby and across the Midlands
