4zzz 0
The Jam are coming to Brisbane in March minus Weller. My favourite band of all time along with the Clash, and got the call today from the local community radio station where I host my weekly show The UK Show asking if I would like to do an interview with Bruce Foxton and Ric Butler. Didn't need asking twice. Weller would be the ultimate but I,m quite pumped. So need to organise some good questions for the boys. So any old Jam fans out there give me some ammo. Cheers Gary
expresbro 0
Personally speaking I'd see the Jam without Weller as akin to The Beatles without Lennon and McCartney. But I'd be curious as to whether there was any resentment towards Weller from Bruce and Ric and what their relationship is today? Be an interesting conversation for sure. Maybe you could post a link to the broadcast or a written transcript. I'd be interested for one in reading it . Cheers Robbie

Dukesy 0
Just a couple of ideas... How many gigs lined up in the country? What do they think of modern music? Any particular favourite bands or singers at the moment? How do they get to grips with modern technology and do they have ipods? Latest material - if so, influences? What is the band members favourite Jam track? What do they miss from the UK when on tour? Name a film they've seen recently they enjoyed. Favourite dish before / after a gig? Not sure how much time you have but how about asking about the craziest thing that has ever happened whilst on tour, or craziest thing that a fan has ever sent them!
old soul 0
I'd be interested to know what they felt when Weller left, and then turned up with the Style Council. A bit of a departure, and perhaps you could ask them their favourite Style Council track lol. Neil B

4zzz 0
Thanks for some great questions. Will check with management to see if style Council and Weller questions are ok. They are the ones that I would love to ask. Will proceed with caution don't want to pi!! them off from the start.
otronics 0
perhaps you could ask them their favourite Style Council track lol. Haha! I believe this is From The Jam so is not intended to include Paul Weller but yes - not the same. I also believe that Bruce (think it was him) has not spoken to Paul since he played him some Style Council demos and Bruce just laughed. Supradave 0
I wish I had seen this earlier, I was a major fan of the Jam and lost count of the number of times that I went to see them live (over a dozen times at least). All Mod Cons is still my favourite album of all time. I have not seen the new line up yet and I am not sure that I really want to (I know that I will be disappointed). I would love to hear the interview with Bruce and Rick if you can put it online. I know they don't see eye to eye with Paul Weller but I have always wondered what they think of his solo material. I still go to see Weller whenever he tours the country and am looking forward to seeing him again later this year.
