  2. I've always updated my laptop with service packs etc and never had a problem. Got MS office on there, photo programs to edit customers photos from cameras and phones, bluetooth software to accept pics from customers etc...never had any issues.

  4. Depends if you want the cheap option or not: Cheap option would be to use Winamp with the MP3+G plugin... Next would be something like sax n dotty which uses winamp behind the scenes whilst providing you with a nice karaoke user interface. Compuhost, Swift Elite etc are karaoke programs in their own right and although expensive, are excellent products. Then you have the all in ones, PCDJ (with karaoke module), VDJ and OTSDJ (with karaoke module). These allow you to play videos, karaoke and music in one package. 7. my original books were 120 pages long and now I've taken them apart and I have 19 pages in my normal book, with different sections: New tunes Duet - Males Duet - Females Duet - MaleFemale Popular songs TV, films and showtunes then in between each section, I have a page saying that this is just a small section of my karaoke listings and any songs they can't find, come and let me know!
  8. Hey, I've been using Digital Entertainer for the past few months...it's a new version of Sax N Dotty. Very easy to use and really great. slideshows, fade into background music etc www.digitalentertainer.co.uk As for tv screens, do what I do. I work in a pub every tue night, which has big screens and I also need my 2nd monitor for the singers...so I bought this. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Module...r&doy=28m11 It enables you to go out to 2nd monitor AND tv screens as it has VGA, video and s video which can be used all at the same time. If you need any more help,
  9. So you mean the Carpe Diem one? I think that is what it is called!
  10. got mine from DJKit.co.uk....very good!
  11. I work in a pub every tue and fri and I normally drink red rooster (cheaper red bull) which I thought was expensive at £2.20 a can....so I thought I'd order a pint of lemonade and lime cordial. £3.20!!!! I think I'll take a bottle of water from now on
  12. I think the equaliser is only for the line input...the mics have a seperate bass mid and treble
  13. yeah I had one....I think I paid £500 for it when it first came out, so if it is all working £50 is a bargain! The KAOS pad was also good for kids discos etc as you could make the mic channel go high or low pitch and get the kids to speak into it...very funny!
  14. I've got a gigaport and 2 soundblaster mp3 external soundcards....very happy with all of them....use the gigaport in my DJPC and soundblaster for laptop
