Ok a bit of an update to Sundays SEDA meeting, i spoke to Mr Kidd about what was being said on this post and it is possible that this sunday BEFORE the SEDA meeting and AGM we can do a beginners mixing lesson.

So Splosh and Geco if your interested let me know also if anyone else is coming along to the SEDA meeting on sunday and would like to join in on the mixing lesson please PM me ASAP.

We would like you to bring whatever you play your music on, CD players, PC so you can learn on YOUR equipment.

As i said this will be before the meeting so from 6pm till about 7.30 and is only really a beginners lesson to start with, something you can go away with and practice till the next meeting..

Ahh bugger! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/014.gif Got a wedding fair for Rob on Sunday, don't know what time we finish though. Our game plan is to do the fair, then get something to eat then hit the meeting. So don't see any opertunity in there for heading home to get the console.

What i really want to do is learn to mix on CD as i have no experience of this at all! If we manage to get to the meeting early, would anybody mind me watching over your shoulder to see how it's done? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/flirt.gif

Not a problem with you using mine or anyone else's equipment, it was just an idea for people to learn on their own equipment than use something they might never use again ! but as i say not a problem, you can still get the idea of beat matching, and cueing.

Question is will you be there for 6pm?

If we do not get enough people interested then we will scrap it again !!

We dont mind giving up our time for free to benefit others but we would like some commitment ! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif
