superstardeejay 0
After being with Orange for 20 years or so, Ive decided to change. Their customer service is not what it was and 18minutes on hold before getting a human is no good. Can anyone recommend a network? I am looking at contract with a free web-capable phone. . Dukesy 0
Check out the online deals with '3' http://www.three.co.uk/ Not only do you get a decent bundle of free minutes but they have the best (IMO) network for mobile web / internet along with a generous allowance. I have Orange and '3' Mobile dongles to keep in touch and online whilst i'm working down South, and I find that '3' have a far more superior coverage for both data and voice calls even in fairly remote areas They also offer free unlimited (well its 4000 mins / month) Skype to Skype calls too, if you use the service Whatever service provider you choose, don't forget to see if you can get the contract through an operator who offers cashback through Cashbackkings or Quidco. You can often get £40 - £100 back this way.
superstardeejay 0
Just been on the 3 website and they have an 0843 revenue generating number for their customer services, I won't dial one of those because they make money from them and it is in their best interest to keep you on hold. Don't forget, if you call your mobile operators customer services from your mobile phone on that network ... If you are on contract, it's free!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: They provide you with a short dial numbers like orange, o2 and all the others do. Orange is 450 or 150... or something like that I know o2 is 100 and I think Three is.... 333 or 100 .... Also, you have the option of finding a standard landline number if you want : http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php I personally recommend o2........ been with them years, never had a problem :) Edited November 7, 2010 by AlexEntertainment ------------------------------------------- Web : http://www.alexentertainment.co.uk Web : http://www.alexskaraoke.co.uk Phone : 07525 645750 / 0800 612 4979 email : alex@alexentertainment.co.uk --------------------------------------------

superstardeejay 0
Renewed my contract with Orange as none of the others came close on the price, or if they did, only offered an inferior phone. I guess the length of time Ive been with orange is a bit like No Claims Bonus and earns discount. Managed to get an 0800 freephone number for Orange in case I need to dial them if my mobile breaks. . DJTauntonJams 0
Ive found it handy orange robbing t-mobiles signal now! Confused me a few times seeing "t-mobile" on my phone... but yeah, coverage has improved alot! BIG Fish Discos
mjmac 0
Im with o2... purchased my iphone4 from the apple store and got a simplicity sim! the package at the time was 800mins, unlimited text + unlimited web bolt on... All for £20 a month! they got wise to that deal and have now killed it... coz people like me who have the iphone avoided the huge tarriff's they were commanding on contract! I think the monthly contract cost for a similar deal with the phone, for £110, was around the £80 mark... Id say o2 & vodafone have the best coverage in London & SE england... Thurrock & Kent are orange black spots - and they let me leave with no cost due to the poor signal i was getting between my place of work & home! fester 0
Slightly off topic here but if you ever need to phone a company and can only find expensive or premium rate numbers then check out this site: http://www.saynoto0870.com/ It's an excellent resource, i've found it very useful a few times now.
