  4. we do a lot of Discos for kids of that age and as well as good music they like to play games and win prizes which is always bags of sweets, we normally supply these as its a community event however if the parents are willing to supply them it will save you a fiver.

  6. I know Im not an experienced dj, not any kind of dj, yet. however I have been to a few different types of parties and dos at our club. we had a wedding party there and the dj had two small box frames that stood in front of the doors and the wiring went around the frame hidden by what looked like skirting board/ architrave. now Know you get various size doors but most are single and double Skirting and architrave is available quite cheaply maybe its worth trying. I dont think theres a copyright issue as it was a homemade thing maybe its worth someone thinking some more on this

    Karaoke

Which is better a combined cd/cd-g player or seperate Karaoke player? have been thinking which is the best way to go most systems we are being quoted for come back as combined yet some quotes skip the karaoke aspect altogether. which brought me to the thought a seperate Karaoke player, then looking for the equipment I find a dvd/cd-g player and as we have some large screen tvs at our club should we consider karaoke dvds as well the choices that are available to us are numerous and its a mind bending experience choosing equipment and spending other peoples money but looking through s

    What Kit?

Well I have started to recieve some qoutes back from from dealers, gave them my list and said How much? varying prices have come back that wasnt to far outof the budget or just under. The one thing I have noticed though is a few have swapped the Citronic CD1-X dual CD/karaoke, Citronic CDM3-1 mixer, 2-4-2 Flightcase for a Numark KMX02 & Case has anyone used any of the above? any opinions welcome, Is it better to use a seperate mixer or not? as I know we can attach further things to a mixer can the same be done for the KMX02? Thanks for helping Mac

    Karaoke

While Im choosing equipment, Discs and so forth we still need to consider Karaoke CD-Gs. we have find a mastermix 30 disc box set (199.00).which has 600 tracks. What we would like to know is it worth buying this or several different smaller sets. we dont have a budget to be able to buy monthly sets or things like that so just want some opinions from someone else

Last year when I decided to try to get this project together little did I know what it would involve, however I cant wait to set it up and get the PARTY STARTED. We managed to get the grant application in within two days notice. normally you have to buy what you state however with all the advice that I have recieved here. changes will be made,I will just tell them have recieved expert advice from professionals(Thats you guys). But even then its not my de

Well Ive found a Dj/disco store not to far away from us had a good chat about what we want to do,veiwed some lights with the smoke going to get the full effect.could spend hours in there and a small fortune. the owner has advised for the type of things we wish to do to go for the following Citronic CD1-X Dual Karaoke/CD Player Citronic CDM3-1 Mixer Alliminum Case KAM 600 watt Amplifier 1pr 250 watt(rms)Speakers 1 pr KAM Radio Microphones 1 T Stand 4 LED lights( 2 small, 2 big) This all comes in under budget, I have looked on the net some cheaper elsewhere some n
  20. could you please define inhouse my veiw of inhouse means fixed/ booth at the moment we cant as we dont manage the building we are only hall users we are trying to convince the Town Council that our group could manage the building and run it a lot better than they do. prime example if we had a key to open and close the doors it would save them £3500 a year in getting someone to come and do it we have lots of members within the community that wish to get involved and they are retired and looking for something to do. as for your suggestion of a Denon looking through different websites h

    Value For Money

Our centre is in Trowbridge, Wilts its a Town Council run building(hall 4 hire) it has a large hall, lounge, kitchen, toilets and storage facility 160-180 capacity, no license thats why its mostly family and childrens parties/discos was considering the numark 2/3 KAM KCDMP5000 MP3 / CD then the Citronic CDMX 1 Mk2 Anti Shock Dual CD / MP3 / USB / SD Mixstation for multiple use as we have been given a set amount for a quote from a supplier for a specific kit and extras trying to change specs or equipment is very hard, then once I have come to the decision i must check with

    Value For Money

As Im looking to buy a fair amount of cds for our mobile set up and having just bought the woman and kid a pile of cds for xmas it got me thinking about value for money, grants dont go far. Ive realised most artist cds that we buy are nowhere near the 80minutes that a cd can hold. 70 mins plus is very good Queen greatest hits 79.37 Seal Hits 79.11 Pussycat Dolls 76.37 Black Eyed Peas 70.18 50-69 mins its alright(ish) Pink, Lady Gaga, Neyo 40-49 mins not impressed Aexandra Burke, Pixie lott Then the feel I got mugged buying this Shakira, Shewolf 34 minutes
