Pete Best 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 Hi I just joined you forum and would like to introduce my self.Im peter from wigan I started DJing in 1976 doing whatever i could find .I got a few residences in the loca area in 1981 done my first tour of Germany touring the British Bases.In 1982 got a 3 month tour in Norway it was a fantasyic place to work when i got back i played clubs and pubs around the UK with Ford Transit van held together with gaffa tape.in the mid eighties i got intrested in the technical side done a few collage courses eventualy getting my qualifacations .I done several more tours around Germany aswel as still working in the UK with a residancy at Natterjacks in Huyton Liverpoo .In the 1997 i was taken on at the temple in bolton as the sound engineer but missed the Djing I left ther after about 6 months and started to go out with bands doing the sound for them when i wasn't DJing also played keyboards in a couple of bands this didn't last very long in 2001 i started to put a large pa system together at the moment its at about 17k mainly peavey it was used at the Wigan Casino Revisited in 2006 with the old Casino DJs .Brought back loads of memories of my visits to the Casino Im loyal nrthern soul fan .I help a freind with his radio show at the moment aswel as DJing whenever i can .I tend to get a lot of theme nights in my local area .MY fave music is northern soul .Classic Rock.60s 70s 80s Im not to keen on the new music of today .I hope this didnt bore you to much .Sorry for any spelling mistakes and bad punctuation .If i can be any help to anyone just ask Thanks for reading Pete Link to post Share on other sites

Pete Best 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 Hi Pete, is your rig active? 2 , 3 or 4 way Simon Its 2 way active on the pv2000s the xover is built in and the other rack as a couple of c-mark amps an old h/h also got a couple of studiomaster 800c the h/h is used for fold backwith a bheringer 2 way xover the system is run through a studiomaster gold 18 channel desk ill add some pix when i find them there is a clip on you tube if you want to see it in action just do wigan casino revisited dean parish live my pa system was used there tahnx for asking Peter Link to post Share on other sites
