Ste Owens 0
Hey! I thought I would start this topic dont know if it will take off but will give it a go, any songs you hear or have which you think will become big hits care to share the love? I work at JuiceFM in Liverpool and so will be able to hear a lot of new releases before they come out for example Photographs - Rihanna and Will.I.Am is set to be big and will post it on here. So get your Mystic Meg caps on and tell us what you think will be a hit in the future, i'll kick us off this track: Its called We no speak americano - Yolanda ft. Be Cool and DCup [EDIT] But it's very similar to Gramophonedzie - Why dont you. Have a listen and tell us what you think. Marble 0
I should stay well away from this one, my penultimate guess was LMFAO. . . I currently think Adam Lambert will be the next big thing, especially since Lady Gaga gave him one of her songs and Dr. Luke is one of the producers and co-writers on his album. But having said that out loud I imagine I've jinx'd him.
MintyDave 0
Its called We no speak americano - Yolanda ft. Be Cool and DCup Novelty cheesy track imo - almost gogol bordello meets basshuter. Gogol was on Jools holland last night, daft as you like. LMFAO. . . I hope you do realise im going to spend the rest of the day figuring out what that means I currently think Adam Lambert will be the next big thing, especially since Lady Gaga gave him one of her songs and Dr. Luke is one of the producers and co-writers on his album. But having said that out loud I imagine I've jinx'd him. nah one/two hit wonder i reckon, i guess he's been listening to muse a lot....but what do i know Edited April 14, 2010 by MintyDave Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk

Ste Good idea for a post topic. You are.in my opinion, just what we need here.Someone on the inside. As for the track.I think I like it-little sections that, like Gramophonedzie, take a little time getting used to. This is not a rehearsal This is it - grab it while you can. Liscio 0
In Hip Hop, Drake will be the next BIG thing, he is already on the radar but I believe he is still just 23 and has already worked with Jay Z, Dre, Eminem, Young Money etc Another is Plan B, his new album is very commercial, completely different from his first if anyones heard both and well worth a listen, very 60s/70s vibe to some of the tracks Liscio Discotheques 60s - Current In Surrey & Home Counties www.liscio.co.uk

Slightly bored of hearing it now... Its "ok" as far as albums go.. However I really can't talk about taste at the moment... since my current spotify playlist is just popular female vocalists/groups (and their albums) :mcps: :) DJ David Graham Tel: 01204 537716 / 01942 418415 Email: hello@djgraham.co.uk FB: http://facebook.com/djdavidgraham Web: [under construction - it really is coming soon :)]

deejaymitch 0
I just heard this track for the first time, and think it's terrible. Then again, I think Dizzee Rascal is terrible. He, and the equally over-rated Calvin Harris, had a moment of serendipity when they released "Dance Wiv Me" which somehow managed to be a good tune. However I don't rate anything else that either of them have doene, either together or individually. If this song is going to be the big hit of the summer, Lord help us all. So after all the hype about this terrible track it hit #1 for 1 week (although I think anyone who collects 10 promotional vouchers gets a #1 for a week these days), I've had a grand total of 0 (zero) requests for it and have only ever played it once when it cleared a busy dancefloor. Was everyone else's experience of this song the same or have I just got lucky? I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Was everyone else's experience of this song the same or have I just got lucky? I had a large youth club disco (300+ kids) last friday night, cracking gig as usual, a monkey could dj at these as the kids get so into it that it's almost impossible to clear the floor, played dizee rascal and the song didn't exactly clear the floor but alot of people left it and there was no proper atmosphere, crap song that I won't be playing again unless specifically requested. Having said that I do like the video version of his "you got the love" with Florence welch from the Brit awards, and play this regularly between Karaoke singers. Two other rascal tracks, Dance wiv me & holiday weren't that bad either, but you certainly won't catch me listening to his album in the car on on my i-pod. www.tipperarypartydj.com
MintyDave 0
Yup, Dirtee Disco has cleared a floor for me too. I kind of like it and love the video but its a failure. Nothing sticks out that much at the moment, unless i watch Katy Perry videos. Obviously im talking about clever artistic things. ;) Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk
