Hi

Hmmm what a list!

Ok, it's about time we had a novelty song at xmas, so it'll be 4 poofs and a piano, aside from that, blue and Stevie Wonder stand a chance, and Darkness as outsiders.

its already decided! Nobody believes that its actually the cd buying public that determines what hits number one anymore do they!

WE LOVE KAREN, AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE HER BACK !!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well, its face it, looking at the list it's got to be Cliff Richard hasn't it. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif Unless another boy or girl band come crawling out of the woodwork and dazzle everybody with their colgate smiles and woo the CD buying masses http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/tongue.gif .

Maybe the SClub Toddlers or the Spice Girl Embryo's will have the Xmas no 1 this year?. Or Posh & Becks doing Fairytale of New York?, since Kirsty McColl kicked the bucket at least there is no fear of another mind numbing duet with her and the pogues.

I still think that Karen and Paula would make a great 2003 version of Bananarama - they could re-release "I heard a rumour" instead of starting them http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/nono.gif . The only problem with this idea is that Gary, Andy and Ian would consider themselves to be the new Fun Boy 3 http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/scared.gif

Better still lets all get together and re-release "There is no-one quite like Grandma" - this modern version could be called "There is nothing quite like Kazz -aaaaa" (to identify with todays young people) which would = lots of sales and obscene amounts of money and we could all move abroad to a tax haven of Ian's choosing and wait to be hunted down by the Lawyers of St Winifreds School choir.

If Cliff can hit number one with "the Lords Prayer" then what more evidence is needed to prove that the charts are rigged!

Lets hope its a good novelty record, or a good dance record...not some dreary drudgy tune that could have made it to number one at any time of the year.
