Savoury one end and sweet the other...mmmmmm To be honest I prefer off the shelf pasties with puff/flakey pastry as a opposed to the shortcrust pastry. Not good for the diet though! Main/meat course one end, and the dessert, such as apple, jam or custard at the other end. The dirty-handed worker would hold the entire pasty inverted, by its purposely designed supportive crust, which would not usually be eaten. Yummy Link to post Share on other sites
