I assume it’s only a case of making sure windows are clean where the wipers go, if not then what do you do if you’re driving into snow?? Just stop weight for the snow to go away, and then clear your windows?

Also Check the display settings on your laptop, I worked out I had to have the secondary screen just slightly smaller than the primary!! Otherwise it would not work!!! The problem I was experiencing was, I had my TV plugged into my laptop, When I turned the laptop on you could see windows loading on the laptop and secondary screen, But as soon as you entered your password to enter windows the second monitor automatically went to stand by. Odiously I did not notice it was doing this to start off as I would only try turning the TV on when the laptop was fully booted!!

Ive been dragged in to an argument I was not even there to listen to until on of the regulars from the pub asked me a few days later! Right There was an 8min version of American Pie and a 12min version, True or false? I said true Did the 8 min version get in to the carts?I said true did the 12 min version I said I dont think so no. Am I correct in my answers? and if so where can fined evidence to print off and take with me?

The problem I seem to get is simpaly when listning/cueing a song to play next, the PFL level is always in the red although the output levels are in the green/yellow area and there is no distortion on my ear phones!! Whats going wrong? Thanks Rich..

I normally keep my amp on full, Only turning it down for the initial swich on of amp, Mixer ect. The Mixer gain is kept at half and if any more power is needed then I use the master. I always keep an eye on the mixer levels enshurening the levels never go into the red! If they do then thats when to start turning the mixer gains down. On the Amp if you use a modern Peavey like mine, They have a good built in gadget called DDT protection! This post has also inspired me!! Thanks Rich

Because I did not have to drive them for the gigs I was doing, Secondly it was my fault I orderd the wrong ohmage but when ringing them I said "you have sent me the wrong ohmage" Then all they said was ok,we we will send some 4ohms out just basicly swop over boxes and sned the 8ohms back.

I’m currently using some Peavey UL 15's which I bought new in November, Unfortunately they are the wrong ohm age and like an idiot I threw away the boxes! So I rang up Internet Company I bought them off saying that they sent me the wrong ohm age speakers and I would like a swop and explained that I threw away the boxes, The guy said no worries when we get some speakers in stock which will be after New Year, You can just do a straight swop of boxes with the courier! I set up my disco last night at my regular disco spot and decided to add Karaoke which ment useing my laptop because I knew it was going to be a quiet night. Well I got the horrid Laptop hum, I do have a ground lift/loop thing to stop it but it was not doing anything, The funny thing is it worked fine the week before in a different pub all set up the same!! Once did an 18th Birthday (years ago) alongside two fellow Karaoke DJ's I know, The situation was for them to do 3 spots of Karaoke and pro DJ to fill between. So anyway got started and one of the karaoke DJ's started working up the crowd and then the birthday lass asked for them not to say anything except to announce Happy birthday So we then had dares on who were going to speak of course the night went on with the karaoke and Disco as it would do, But why come out with a stupid comment like that :shrug:
