TonyB 0
That was a nice easy gig. Function started at 7.00pm and was told that the disco starts at 8pm. Didn't think it was going to happen somehow as they didn't sit down for the meal until 8pm. Disco started at 10.40pm and finished at midnight. Couldn't play all the requests. The playlist was (doesn't seem worth posting in the playlist thread!): Name Artist Chain Reaction Diana Ross Right Round Ft. Kesha Flo Rida Show Me Love Steve Angello & Laidback Luke Ft Robin S Discolights various artists Rhythm Of The Night Frisco V Corona Self Control Infernal No Tomorrow Orson Hot & Cold (Almighty Anthem Radio Edit) Katy Perry Poker Face Lady Gaga Black & Gold Sam Sparro So What Pink Rockstar Nickelback Tarantula Pendulum Dirty Little Secret The All-American Rejects Scream Timbaland Bounce (Feat Dr Dre, Missy Elliott & Justin Timberlake) Timbaland Low Flo Rida Rehab Rihanna (Ft Justin Timberlake) Show Me Love Steve Angello & Laidback Luke Ft Robin S Thriller Michael Jackson Beggin' Madcon We Are the Champions Queen Show Me Love seems to be going down a storm everywhere and its not the first time I've been asked to play it twice. Was hoping to play some cheese for the older ones, had Macarena, Cha Cha Slide and Oops upside your head requested but run out of time. Nice finale. One of the Squadrons had won a major competition and everyone joined in a circle for the last track. Venue was changed at the last minute to the Earls Colne Golf Club. Nice staff that looked after me (free drinks), If it was someone else on here playing upstairs - I heard you during the speeches

TonyB 0
No I didn't play Thunderbirds but will remember that for next time. In a strange way I was a bit nervous of doing anything too outrageous because there seemed to be quite a bit of protocol about how they should behave/order of the evening. Most of the teenagers seemed to wait for instructions before they would do anything. Even leaving the table for a comfort break, they all had to wait until they were told they had a 15 minute break! They were also watched by the Pardre announced as Smog (Squadron Man Of God) when he done his speech.
