robbiedj 0
No, Kia sedona man. It covers all uses, by taking out or putting in seats. As it's a 7 seater the space with the back row removed is big enough for all my gear, including 4 speakers and goal post stands. It has a carrying weight equal to a transit and a towing weight of 2000Kg. Seats are removed/replaced in seconds. And I still have 4 seats. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thumbup.gif You want me to play what? It may be 11 years old but it still does 450 miles on £35 worth of diesel, & it cost half as much to insure than all the car quotes we had, plus it’s far more practical for carrying all the gear around. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Old School Disco 0
I am now classed as a social lepper as I have the audacity to drive a 4x4. It's big, it's thirsty and I can get my gear in it! Nuff said. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/363.gif (Ps, for all the hariy arsed liberal thought police types, the foot print of my 4x4 is no bigger than the missus Mondeo estate) http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/tongue.gif " It's all part of lifes' rich tapestry of which we are but a pulled thread! Sorry.. i must be one of the hairy arsed liberals, we get loads of 4x4s round here as its quite rural. Anyway at least you have a good reason to have one, for most its just a status thing. Old School Disco 0
QUOTE (Danno13 @ Feb 22 2005, 09:06 PM) Yes... but can the car next to you turning left see over your bonet when your waiting to go right! Please don't get me started on the issue of turning left or right. I ride a motorcycle and I have that hazard on more occasions than I care to remember!! As for fashion statements, I have to agree. Most cars / 4x4's are only fashion statements. Mine has never had a 'nudge bar' near it!! Some 4x4 drivers have never had any training, or driving skills courses to learn how to handle them, or be made aware of the problems that a larg vehicle can have on other road users. As a driving instructor for a bus company, I find that most 4x4's / performance cars are driven with gay abandon, and without any regard towards other road users. Finally, If a 4x4 causes problems for those turning left / right, don't vans do the same?? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/ranting.gif " It's all part of lifes' rich tapestry of which we are but a pulled thread! Old School Disco 0
QUOTE (mikeee @ Feb 22 2005, 09:02 PM) OSD, I didn't think DJ's could afford a Chelsea Tractor. LOL It's purely for carting my gear about and for those days when I can't ride my motorbike due to weather. And it runs LPG, so do I get any brownie points??
