Dukesy 0
I believe the worst track I've been asked to play as part of the main music from a playlist is Ravi Shankar's 'Raga Mian Ki Malhar'. Yours?

Robster 0
For me there isn't a worst track. If they request what i may consider to my personal taste as a track i wouldn't play BUT it gets the desired reaction of everyone laughing and dancing then its a good request. I have played ,as many of you must also have, tracks that i consider "dead certs" only for the floor to empty when 99% of the time they will work and get the desired effect .. Does this makes now a bad track? No! simply put..The rating of any track is dependant on that crowds reaction on that night .. We are paid as DJ's to read the crowd, this is our true talent this is what sets us above an ipod or jukebox, the ability to play anything that we feel will get a good reaction .. Also remember that that track may mean something to the people requesting it , it maybe a family sort of tradition or that uncle Nobby dances to that one , they may know there family and friends better than you do I see above a lot of tracks mentioned as " worst "that in the right places to the right audiences and at the right time have the ability to get a good reaction ..hence my personal opinion there is no "worst "track request . just my opinion Rob Rob Star EntertainmentsFacebook pagelandline 0161 265 3421Mobile: 0777 99 777

If they request what i may consider to my personal taste as a track i wouldn't play BUT it gets the desired reaction of everyone laughing and dancing then its a good request. Well said Rob! I've a surprise 60th on Saturday- some of the playlist (provided by her daughter) contains such gems as "Birdie Song", "Agadoo", "Superman" and "YMCA". Even though they really make me cringe - I won't mind playing them IF people have a laugh and get up and dance. For me, the worst requests are obscure album tracks. I did a 13th last year. The playlist contained lots of RnB and some good dance tracks. Spread amoung them was lots of album tracks from Lilly Allen. Whilst I had the main hits, I didn't think I could justify getting in the Album (that contained only 2 "hits")- and the requested tracks were not really suitable. I had a chat with the birthday girl, explaining that I didn't have the album and I already had the major chart hits from it and wouldn't be getting it in. She knew I'd purchased a few remixes that were requested, and all was cool. I also have problems with Ememim and 50Cent and unless I can get a Radio edit, I won't get it in due to the explicit language. If I did 18ths/21st, this would be different, but I'm mainly doing adult parties and 13ths. This is fairly easy to explain to parents that pass on their childrens playlist :-) Jason
