Gary 0
With three Elvis hits hitting the No.1 spot, there wasnt alot of weeks in 1962 left for other artists to get a look-in. ...And yes, even back in 1962...the "Wendy Richards" mentioned above, dueting with Mike Sarne, is indeed the same Wendy Richards of Pauline Fowler/Eastenders (and "Are you being served Sir?") fame, with the tongue in cheek tune of "Come Outside". http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/inlove.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fish.gif Votes away... BigBen 0
Although I've played Return to Sender and She's Not You (great song!) I do play The Young Ones more than the others so it gets my vote. Any song that known by more than one generation is a treasure in the DJ world! mikeee 0
Given half the chance, Telstar. I totally useless and little know fact, back in the early 70's I was sat in the office at Decca records and we were talking music (well whatelse), and I happened to mention that I was after a copy of Telstar, David asked me if people were still asking for it, so I "bigged it up", and he said he would see what he could do for me. Three weeks later, it was re-released. ..playing all the hits for you... ....whether you may be.... Why can't I see what i going on???
robbiedj 0
Voted for Return To sender, but actually play all sometimes (especially on 60's nights), except Come Outside. But I do play Judge Dredd's version on Adult-only nights. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/whistling.gif You want me to play what?
