  1. I play track 2 of the Soulja Boy single, The Travis Barker remix, It is much better and not so much anoying as the original. If the song has to be played that is the version I prefer to play even tho I cant stand the song really. Try listening to it !! Cheers!
  2. I've had my speakers coming upto 5 years, and have never had a problem with the handles yet. Thinking about it though, the speakers I am looking at getting are very heavy, and if they have the same handles I can see them not lasting long, so I Will have to go and have a look at a pair.
  3. Cant believe this thread is still around. I think this was one of my first I ever made !! I have still had no problems with these speakers and amps, and have had no problems at all. I am wanting to get something a little more powerful. I am looking at getting these next : http://www.alfred-christensen.dk/images/SPKPEAUL215H.jpg 1000 Watts RMS continuous, 2000 Watts program, 4000 Watts peak 4 Ohms Two 15'' (381mm) BlackWidow®, cast frame with field-replaceable basket RX22 compression driver coupled with a CH®-941 Horn Dispersion: 90° H x 45° V Frequenc
  4. Cheers for that NRG, Yeah on the YouTube Video it came up with that alot. I just copied and pasted the lyrics from a website. Cant speak swedish or whatever language it is so I wouldnt know lol. I dont mind the song, its one of them really anoying songs that you cant get out of your head. My fav song at the mo : Jay Sean - Ride It. and Yves Larock - Zookey (lift ur leg up) they work as well, and people tend to like them.
  5. The demo I was given with the par cans also worked with this basic controller making them really easy to control for the Par Can LED's. Chasing all on, color etc can all be changed and speed etc. The controller did more than I thought to control the cans. You can get DMX Desks now as well for about £80 as well. http://www.rawpower.co.uk/acatalog/acme_ca8controller.jpg

  7. I have 2 Ego's and 2 martin T Rex's. The ego was £250 and now I could get a dmx twister for that price like my abstract Extreme twisters, but they are great build quality, same with the t-rex, only changed the bulb in both lights twice since i had them! Shame with Abstract Lighting tho, they used to be well known and used by most DJs, and now they dont even offer much on their website, just LED products ! Cheers
  8. When I worked on the hols site we had to to some of these party dances as well. I found Court of King Carratacus the hardest one to pick up. Some others we used to do : People People Eater Supermarket Sweep Pizza Big Fish Round The Old Camp Fire (all the familys actually requested this one) The mimic man Old King Kool Revolution In Paradise Rik and Nik have a DVD for sale with a CD on the internet, its worth buying and learning the moves especially if you do aloy of kids parties. It was my job to present Party Dance time when I was resident DJ CO
  9. Has anyone heard the original ?? I remember hearing it in Summer last year but the non-english version. Anyways I think Basshunter spends too long on his computer and is obsessed with the Bot in his chat room. Here's what the lyrics are when they are translated : I know a bot, her name is Anna, Anna is her name And she can ban you, ban you so hard She cleans up our channel I want to tell you that I know a Bot I know a bot, her name is Anna, Anna is her name And she can ban you, ban you so hard She cleans up our channel I want to tell you
  10. I bought my Double Derby for £20 from Lacey Green at 2nd Hand DJ bit. http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/3166/photo0266gr8.jpg I bought it 4 years ago and have used it reguarly on weekends and I still havent changed a bulb in it. Its a good unit, just a bit large in size I think for transporting it. Have to give it special treatment and put in on the front seat. On the hols site we had 2 of these and when the blubs blew it cost alot to replace them so treating mine well. It helps set the bottom part of the setup off. A couple of piccies http://img444.imageshack.us/im
  11. I didnt see the DJU poster there. I saw Brian in the distance I think. Good day anyway !! Nathan
  12. Came back a couple of hours ago from the Show. Came with my brother today, and we went for a chinese afterwards. Had a great day out and have plenty of ideads of next purchases. I like the idea of the Amercian DJ SD Card Reader player and the Numark Director and cant decide between them. Am thinking the SD Player would be cheaper as dont want to go totally digital but am still considering. Thanks Clive for the demo with the moving heads, they will be the next addition to the show I am thinking. I have took some photos and posted them. http://img249.imag
  13. Are many people from here going to this ?? I am going to be coming. No work for me on Saturday so will be coming with me brother. WOuld be good to meet some people from here and put faces to people. Cheers
  14. Up until today I have been using Kramware Kra mixer software. It has been ok but had basic functions on it. I have today found some new software called Beatport Sync which is great so far !! Even beatmixes for you if you want it, or just mixes the next song in so this would be great for toilet breaks for me ! still prefer to use CD's though. Cheers
  15. I have searched for the Beatport Sync software and found it !! Its a good piece of kits and its totally free. I have found this better than what I am currently using. I have been using Kra Mixer that was free off the internet for the past few years and not had any problems with it. So thanks for bringing this up !! :thanks:
  16. My Martin Ego's are made from some sort of Plastic but it looks much harder wearing than the above. I bought a cheap Skytec plastic smoke machine which lasted 3 months before falling to pieces. Also i noticed the smoke was really oilly from it compared to my other smoke machines. With the skytec one it made the floor slippery, worse than a bubble machine.
  17. oh well never mind lol. I opened the post and read the first original post and thought mmmm! I think I can help and can suggest something so didnt even scroll down the page lol. Got carried away lol. :aa  :aa

  22. I've got the Pro 15's which I find great, I use them for all my gigs. Alot of the time I use them on their own and for bigger venues I use a 2nd pair of plastic cabs. A friend that DJ's uses Pro-12's and they did the same. when the beat in the music sounds you would hear a crackle with it, almost as if the beat was hitting something. I just assumed it was his Amp not being a high enough rating.
  23. Just had a chat wit my Dad who says North London not that far from Watford area. (I'm not too good with Knowing area in London lol) Would be travelling on the M1 from Bedfordshire area. Am going to see if I can make it and bring me brother with me. Would be good to meet some other DJ's!! Cheers Nathan
  24. I was looking online today just looking what lighting is available at the moment and whats new. I cam across this rather parculiar light : http://www.terralec.co.uk/product_images/prd2b58874b-ea59-4188-afe3-3de99e82a9f5.jpg Product detail A small but fabulous gobo flower with prism effect, Very bright, laser-like beams, Equipped with gobo wheel, inner reflector and 3facet prism, Sound activated with built-in micro Adjustable focus Fan cooling and thermal switch protection Multifunctional stand adapter 3mode switch for internal gobo wheel: Continuous rotation Sou
  25. Are they these lights ? http://webzoom.freewebs.com/dgsounds2006/Equipment%20Page/Vicosa%202.jpg We use to have similar lights on the hols site but called Fearsome four and they had colored Gels in them. Problem with these lights there are no moving pieces inside, so you would be best of just getting some pin spots. We used to have a problem with the master unit as well. It had 4 IEC socket output, but the master sometime would just stay on all the time, and the bulb blew quite oftenly as well. If I were you I would take them back and get a refund, say you had to buy more lig
