Gary 0
Has Queens: "Don't Stop Me Now" track been featured in a film or TV series recently eg: since early December? After years of this track being requested just a handful of times annually, it got requested several times a week in December, and also once each at last Fridays and Saturdays gigs. Sure, its a good enough song, when played at the right point of the evening, so its more the recently increased frequency of it being requested thats surprised me, rather than the fact of it being requested at all. Anyone else had/noticed an increase in requests for this track?

BigBen 0
I think it's the track used on Shaun of the Dead when they start to batter the first couple of Zombies. Perhaps the requestors got the DVD for Christmas? [insert quirky comment]
Kane 0
QUOTE (BigBen @ Jan 16 2006, 10:51 AM) I think it's the track used on Shaun of the Dead when they start to batter the first couple of Zombies. Splosh 0
I must admit that I too have had an increase in people asking for that song. It is a good song, but not one that i would play early evening. Generally I play it near the end of the night and tease the crowd by saying that I am going to slow it down for a second or two... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif The moans and groans are heard by all, but as soon as they recognise the song they burst into laughter and chrous!!! Disco Classic????? Not yet, but give it time!!! Splosh Splosh Web: www.2jsroadshow.co.uk jon@2jsroadshow.co.uk

mick 0
Simply a classic Queen track always goes down well, we do get asked for it at most gigs strangly enough we often get asked for Mr Fahrenheit instead of it's correct title - mick Edited January 16, 2006 by mick
Andy Westcott 0
I don't recall ever playing it, or ever being asked for it. But if I was currently working I might well have been asked for it in the light of its recent airing. Don't like the song much, though.
