On the wave editor front, you can play around with the settings so you might lose more of the vocals, but you also generally lose more of the music as well. Karaoke versions of songs are generally produced by session musicians and are in no way connected to the original artist, so may not sound exactly like the original. Sometimes an instrumental version is included with the CD single but don't know if this was the case with Crazy Chick.

Nero Wave Editor has a Karaoke Filter , although the karaoke version would be better, you could use this method if your desperate/short of time

My knowledge of consumer law is limited but the contract is between the buyer and seller, therefore the manufacturer is not responsible for any faults, however in the interests of good customer relations, most manufacturers do offer one. Under the Sale and Supply of Goods Act, the remedies in the Act are only applicable where the seller has sold goods as part of their business. If the seller on Ebay was a business, then you may have redress under the Act. I think there has also been a case at the High Court where an ebay seller claimed to be a private individual and therefore exempt, but it

Again, a sing-a-long can also work well. Roll out the barrel, Lambeth Walk, Siegfried Line, Delilah, Wonder of You, etc.

Give me a break. It was half six in the morning after a twelve hour shift, although it was actually a deliberate mistake to show that you should never do any electrics when you're tired http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/whistling.gif

For future reference P=IxV where P is Power in Watts, I is current in Amps and V is Voltage in Volts so for your problem I=P/V = 300W/240V = 1.25A or there abouts Happy Now http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/363.gif For those with really big brains as V=IxR, P can then = IxIxR or (VxV)/R R is Resistance in Ohms http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/stupid.gif

Folllowing on from the comments made about playing the same song more than once, a number of you said you would if requested, but how many times have you said that a song had been requested when it hadn't, and this was just to cover something up. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/whistling.gif

I've done my father-in-laws retirement/65th birthday and my daughter and niece's children's birthday parties. I'm doing my wife's cousin's 18th birthday next month and next year I'll think I'll be roped in for a joint 60th/21st/18th party for my mother-in-law and my two sons. Whilst it would be nice to be a guest at these events, I'm asked to do these events because, not wanting to sound big-headed, I'm good, and they know what they'll be getting. It also works because I know a lot of the guests and they know me, so it seems to be an easier crowd to work with. I've also had further bookings
